Clarke S. Martin
Clarke S. Martin joined the firm as an associate in September 2022, following two years of service as judicial law clerk at the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
As a third-year law student, Clarke sat second chair in a first-degree murder trial in Wake County, under the supervision of the lead attorney. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty as to the charge of murder. Clarke worked for the firm as a summer law clerk while in law school, and also volunteered as a student advocate for the Juvenile Parole Project in the Pro Bono Program at Carolina Law where she successfully argued in favor of a MAPP Contract for a client who was originally sentenced to life in prison for crimes they committed as a juvenile.
She speaks fluent French and beginner-level Welsh.
