Cary, N.C. – Manning Law Firm’s founding partner Thomas C. Manning has received the Wade M. Smith Award for outstanding criminal defense work from the North Carolina Bar Association
Gathering last Thursday, February 25, 2016 for the 8th Annual Peter S. Gilchrist III & Wade M. Smith Awards Dinner at the Embassy Suites in Cary, N.C., the NC Bar Association honored one prosecutor and one defense attorney from across North Carolina.
Named after renowned Raleigh defense attorney Wade M. Smith, the Wade M. Smith Award recognizes outstanding performance, integrity, and competence in the practice of criminal defense.
Mr. Manning has practiced law in North Carolina for more than 38 years. He is a Board-Certified Specialist in both State and Federal Criminal Law, and maintains the highest peer-review rating in competence and ethics. He continues to be listed as one of the top lawyers across the state and in the country.
